I will be using leaves from my son's natural collection to adorn the tree. It is a little different looking, but I just wanted to use something that I have been wanting to use for a long time. The leaves used look like a twig from New Zealand. They are a burgundy color and a little bit like a coffee bean. I tried a bunch of different things to make sure I could fit all of my trees on one grid. I could have had one very large grid, but I didn't like the look of it. With two layouts, there will be room for 50% of the trees. I think you can see where I'm going with this. I will go on to show you how I made my own. I created two photos to give you an idea of what you will be able to make. I've got a lot more trees to go on the same grid.
